The following passages prove that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is Himself God:
1) John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” with John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
2) John 1:18 “No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.”
3) John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”
4) John 20:28 ‘Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”’ Note that Jesus did not rebuke Thomas for saying this.
5) Romans 9:5 ‘…whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.’
6) Col 1:15 ‘He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.’
7) Col 1:17 ‘He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.’
8) Col 1:19 ‘For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him…’
9) Phil 2:6 ‘…who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped…’
10) Titus 1:3 and 4 together: “…but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior; / To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.”
11) Titus 2:13 ‘…looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.’
12) Hebrews 1:8 ‘But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.”’
13) 2 Peter 1:1 ‘Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ…’
